NightOwl2255: Is Chris Brown gonna have to choke a biatch?

Only if she has sugar tits.

Here a tip on good public relations: don't beat women.

This is the most publicized woman beating since that Iranian soccer game. Maybe I've been following the NFL too closely, but I'm not seeing how this particular story is getting so much life. Could anybody in this thread, on this bastion of good artistic taste lovingly known as FARK, honestly say they knew or cared who Chris Brown or Rhianna was before the "incident."

That was definitely good combo post action.

It wasn't just a slappin'. My understanding is he beat three shades of black off her.

BTW - In a slight change of gears, how come no one is talking about Suge getting laid out.
0-2 this year, for him.

Within a year, this couple will have their own reality series on VH-1. You heard it here first.

This. That is all.

Does this mean Chris Brown will go into rehab now?

I'm all for beating women, but this is ridiculous.

It's more because Chris Brown and Rihanna are these two teen idols. Brown is supposedly this goody-goody r&b kid who writes mostly family-friendly lyrics. He's like the black Zac Efron. He's loved by kids and soccer moms think he's great because he's just so clean and appropriate, and that makes him good listening for Cody, Emma, Hannah, Abigail, Madison, Connor, Caleb, you get the point.

Think of how much we would hear if Brad Pitt smacked Angelina Jolie around. That's what it's like, except that this is geared more towards teenagers.

Some people do vile acts
Some people are women
Vile acts earn consequences

Still, men shouldn't beat women. However, if a woman gave me an STD, I would not be amused as long as it was curable. If it was incurable, well... Some acts of striking out while not condoned are at least mitigated.

Well people would care about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie because people can't get away from those names. They're pretty much universally known. I, who cares nothing about 95% of celebrities, know who they are. So that would be big news.

But thanks for explaining Chris Brown and Rihanna. Being neither a teenage nor the parent of one, I guess they're off my radar. Kinda wacky that the Post-Idol Teenybopper scene is being rocked by a real life version of a bad Lifetime drama.

...so does this mean that junior high classes across the country are setting aside time to teach the snowflakes about the horrors of domestic violence?

Just use Brangelina. Its easier. And more hip!

I always liked the late great Sam Kinison's take on it - "I don't condone hitting women, but I sure know what turns Mister Hand into Mister Fist!"

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired I DID".

So tired of people apologizing in the passive voice...
"Mistakes were made"
"Events occurred"
