problem with that logic is: she's a lesbian in Mississippi, which means she's already a horrific abomination before god, and is now preying on the children, as the filthy homos are want to do, so the pitchfork toting populace will likely burn her at the stake.

This happened at my school but only a few people knew. She was the swim couch and they were caught in the pool.

Harrison County School Superintendent Henry Arledge said Saturday that Martin would not be able to return to school to teach classes or to coach basketball because he was suspending her employment, effective immediately. He said Martin would have the right to request a hearing before the Harrison County School Board to appeal the decision. Otherwise, he said the ruling stands, and she faces termination. If she's convicted of the charges, Arledge said her license to teach in Mississippi would be revoked.

This attitude usually comes from the idea that females are weak and need protection. Hint: they don't. A 14 year old girl's decisions about who she has sex with aren't any stupider that a 25 year old's.

While it's understandable that there would be workplace rules against teacher-student relationships, the law getting involved isn't helpful to either party.
