This story is getting kind of depressing to me. This chick has 14 kids, and it seems like nothing good can happen with them from here on out. Either they become part of the Clown Car Traveling Circus and she schleps them around from appearance to appearance, or she has to figure out some way to raise them on rather limited public assistance. I'm wondering if the best thing isn't for them to be taken away from her, but that's not a good situation either.

In any case, 14 kids are going to be victimized, somehow, by this whole thing.

Number 3 can't happen - she's already got blockages in both tubes, hence the IVF. You'd have to insist on a full hysterectomy.

If ol' Nadya has a change of heart, she might be able to sue the doctor for implanting more than the safe number of embryos (even though she's on tape saying it was all her idea). Or the State of California might be able to bring a civil suit against him.

They might bring criminal charges against him, there was an article yesterday about how the doc had another patient who has quadruplets brewing as we speak.

THIS is just one of the many reasons I wish that state would slide into the ocean already.

Publicists usually get paid a salary by the client, but they were working pro bono and the walking uterus became more hassle than she was worth. It's not worth it to them to destroy their image to defend the indefensible. They saw a chance to put themselves on the map by making the world love this uterus and her spawn, but it backfired horrendously. They cut their losses and bailed.

Since the uterus has no money, she hires an agent, who is not paid a salary but gets a cut of the client's action. Agents have no souls and make money based on how much money you make, so he will be vicious in his pursuit of additional interviews, book deals, and late-night reality shows on E!. It's a win-win situation all around, except for the fourteen kids, half of which are disabled and will never lead a normal life after this situation.

California doesn't foot the bill for any of these agents or publicists.

I also have family pictures in which just about every race is represented.

If you want to raise children, there's plenty available. You don't necessarily need to make more of them. Just like cats and dogs. You're not a special purebred human unless you can do something useful, like earn a living without government assistance. This Gatling-vag clearly should've been spayed.

If Octomom had lived/given birth in Bible country, the community would still be paying for her ridiculous brood. The Church would subsidize the family the same way that Cali taxes are right now. The main difference is that with the Church, it's people voluntarily forking over money to support these extreme families. I don't think the majority of Californians would support tax dollars going to this psycho breeder.

Mortified to find she'd had tons of kids solely from his donation
Grandma says he meets with Nadya once or twice a year, and hasn't seen the kids
"David Solomon" is supposed to be an alias that Nadya made up for him. BUT, she not only put it on the birth certificate on some of the first 6 but used it as the legal last name for ALL 8 kids. Funny thing to do with a totally made-up name? Unless it's only the first name she made up?

Given that this apparently took place outside of a formal, legal donor program, the guy could receive like a multimillion-dollar child support bill...
