I actually popped in to say this. As a bonus, I don't even know who Rhianna is other than seeing headlines about her on Fark. And this is why I love the internet - I can completely ignore what the industry is selling and just seek my own damned entertainment. It's full of Win.

I heard on the radio that the new reason is that Chris Brown and Rihanna were having an argument, she threw the keys out of the car, he went off to find them in the dark but couldn't, so he decided to beat her, threatened to kill her, then choke her til she was unconscious.

I first read that as Chris Martin fans. I guess I'm just hopeful that there will be a massive backlash against Coldplay.

Now that I've RTFA, I'm glad that the protesters will make themselves feel better by destroying Chris Brown merchandise, but somebody had to pay for it, so he's still making money off the protest. It's the same reason I didn't understand buying $100 bottles of French wine, then flushing them down the toilet to protest France's refusal to fight in Iraq (I mean, other than the fact that that "boycott" was stupid to begin with).

The best revenge for Rihanna fans is to return Chris Brown stuff to the stores and demand refunds (or maybe write "I have a small dick" on the posters or something). The best revenge for Rihanna is to write a #1 song or album about the incident and keep looking absolutely hawt.
