aww shiat...

I find it almost hard to believe they are going to perform the entire albums...wow.... anyone checked out shows from this site? IM not familiar with it, but it looks like they have a database of pretty cool artists who performed in the past

I don't suppose they encore with Spiral Scratch? I mean, it's not like Howard Devoto could be busy or anything.

Link actually works...they sound pretty good. Feed is pretty decent as well.

DrZiffle 2009-02-11 03:01:55 PM
Are they still signed to tiny Merge Records?

Saw Social D do this back in 04 at their HoB Sunset opening night. They played all of Mommy's Little Monster and a bunch of stuff off Mainliner. Man sucks I'm going to have to miss the Buzzcocks though. =\

Just in time for Orgasm Addict, SWEET!

Gunny Highway 2009-02-11 04:20:17 PM
That was real fun. Thanks subby

They also have shows by Living Colour, Killing Joke, and Pennywise on there if anybody is a fan of those bands. Cool site.

Singles Going Steady isn't really an album. It's a collection of singles. Thus the name.

You know, I never understood how Green Day would always get compared to Stiff Little Fingers, but rarely to the Buzzcocks. I always figured they were a straight up Buzzcocks ripoff homage.

Still, I don't want to see the Buzzcocks playing their greatest hits in 2008. It would be like going to see Tommy Dorsey in 1976.

/Nostalgia sucks
//you know the scene, very humdrum... boredom - boredom

Saw them in Buffalo in 2003. Chatted up Steve Diggle for a while, was very friendly. Pete Shelley finally came off the bus for a handshake and hellos.

I waited almost an hour to see Pete Shelley. What do I tell him?

"Jumping Jesus on a farking pogo stick, you're Pete Shelley!!"

Pete, a bit taken aback replies "Ooh, thank you. I think."

/stupid, stupid, stuuuupid.

fiset35: "Jumping Jesus on a farking pogo stick, you're Pete Shelley!!"

Everyone knows Pete Shelley live in a hole in the ground
Why do you thing they call......wait, what?

They should play on a bill with Squeeze performing "Singles - 45's and Under."
