I would be happy to provide a shoulder to cry on and a good night of comfort loving for one Ms.

*checks link*

Ms. Fenty.

If she feels the need for some serious rogering or a good deep dicking, have her people call my people.

That Rihanna's asshole boyfriend could go and beat up her face so badly that it was visible to onlookers that she was injured... this case has me seeing red.

Unfortunately domestic violence is so common even in 2009. I don't know why there aren't greater efforts to combat domestic violence. We read about these cases, it seems almost every week, where a woman has been killed by her boyfriend or husband, especially pregnant women, or women with young children. (Although of course domestic violence isn't confined just to heterosexual women, they are the vast majority.) And then we just shrug like this is normal and when we get fundraising letters from shelters for abused women we donate and accept that they provide an essential service that will continue to be needed... this is profoundly farked up.

Be sure to bring up that you are gay, and your civil and or human rights are being violated and that the world owes you some kind of special dispensation, just like you ALWAYS do.

Actually no, the majority of domestic violence is commited by Women, it's just convictions for women are incredibly rare because the legal system and society as a whole gives men very little choice.

A man can go into a police station with cuts and bruises from a domestic assault and the police will treat it like a common fracas. He won't be able to call shelters, he won't get an automatic restraining order, he'll be left with nowhere to go. He won't even be able to talk to his friends about it because being beaten by a woman is seen as 'funny'.

What's worse is all woman has to do is make a counter claim that he was abusive and suddenly she gets all these protections, takes the house, kids, he gets seen as scum by almost everyone.

There's the old cliche you see in plenty of comedies where a 'wronged' woman throws plates at a man or burns his stuff and it's seen as being hilarious. This kind of thing is rarely so funny to people who have to regularly suffer this abuse in silence.

Actually, my brother went through that. Eventually he divorced the biatch. And it's true, no one would actually believe him, and he was so self conscious about it that he had no one to turn to except family.

So you aren't very funny.

Zing!

I was wondering when somebody was going to bring that up.
For those who haven't heard the rumor:
Supposedly, the reason Chris Brown freaked out and attacked Rihanna is because he had just found out that he caught herpes from her. She caught it from one of her backup dancers on tour.

/Not saying it justifies the violence.

Well he's right, or close, it's 50/50 in terms of incidents of domestic abuse. But the abuse committed by men is generally of a worse degree.

FarkinHostile 2009-02-10 01:29:56 PM
Last Wednesday, I witnessed and stopped a domestic violence situation on the street. Bad neighborhood, of course, I am on the job. 17 year old boy, 'bout 5'11 or so, absolutely man-punched this 15 year old girl twice in the face when they were walking down the street. Dropped her to the ice. I pulled out my cell and called 911 as I walked over to the pair. This maggot (who I assume knew them) yells at me "Mind your business!" I turned to him and barked "Shut the fukc up!" I stepped between the two and told the punk "Get away from her." "Who are you?" Punk asks. "I said, get the fukc away from her....now." Little tough guy turned and ran, hid in a house on a side street. While I was waiting for the cops and ambulance, this guy come out of the first floor of the house I suspect the punk ran into.

"Yo, you see where that little biatch went?"
"Uh, no. My mother saw it all from the window."
"Yeah, little biatch was tough when beating up on little girls, but when a man step to him he runs like a coward."

Cops got him eventually. Worthless. I was told they slapped him around and released him with a "warning". Great, you dumbasses just reinforced "Might makes right" to him. Fools.

Still, I did stop him. And I sent a message, I hope, to the kids who were watching.

Yeah, the reason I don't feel sorry for your brother, at all, generally when a man attacks a woman it's someone far larger and stronger attacking her. When a woman attacks a man, he's being attacked by someone smaller and weaker. It's called pin her down, inform her she's psycho, then go get a divorce. It ain't that difficult.

It's called pin her down

...whereupon SHE can assert physical assault or abuse, and likely be believed...

inform her she's psycho

...whereupon she can assert verbal assault or abuse, and likely be believed...

then go get a divorce.

...whereupon most of the time, she'll be able to take the car, house, kids, pets, and demand alimony for the duration of man's life.

It ain't that difficult.

...if you say so. I sure as hell don't believe you, though.

I read that, too, and I don't believe it for a second. They were seen at a pre-grammy's party and at the grammy's together, looking happy. I highly doubt that he "just found out" about his herpes right around midnight on a sunday. Something about that rumor just doesn't make sense, and it was probably started by someone that thinks rhianna deserved to have her ass kicked.
Chris Brown is a big-toothed punk. I hope he gets what's coming to him.

They attended Clive Davis' party, but according to Grammy organizers, they didn't attend or perform at the Grammys as scheduled.

I don't believe the herpes rumor either. I think that is Chris Brown's friends starting internet rumors in a lame attempt to win public support and excuse his behavior.
