It's too late. It'll be stuck in your head for a week.

Not all of us who drink are poets. Some of us drink because we're not poets.

Arthur has more classic one liners than pretty much any movie ever.

"You obviously have a wonderful economy with words, Gloria. I look forward to your next syllable with great eagerness."

When will Hollywood make another movie about a loveable alcoholic?

I never drink. No one in my family ever drinks.
That's great! You probably never run out of ice your whole life!

I've been informed by my audio betters that my taste in quality resembles a box of very stale powdered sugar donuts, offbrand. I really can't tell the difference. This especially enrages them when they remind me of all the specs on their systems and how much they paid for it.

I'm totally fine with an mp3 of THAT, really.

In today's Hollywood, this is what you'd get.

And Meyers wouldn't drink!

Cross's debut album was great. one of the album-staples of my childhood. nice pop tunes.

Yeah, right. It's sad to imagine that a movie like "Arthur" would probably never be made today, not by a major studio at least.

The best comedies were funny BECAUSE they were politically incorrect. Something too many have forgotten about today.

FlyingPig [TotalFark] 2009-02-09 02:38:53 PM
Arthur was a farking classic comedy.

The second one, though...OH GOD did that suck. Apparently the producers decided that political correctness and all the '80s social consciousness bullshiat was more important than humor.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Please, don't give Hollywood any ideas. You never know who's reading these threads!

When I was nine I wanted Christopher Cross to DIAF. "Sailing" annoyed the farking hell outta me.
