Maybe that's why the wife won't go on the pill- not even for Valentine's day

The pill that prevented women from getting knocked up is like 40 years old... how are we doing on the pill that keeps them from being emotional trainwrecks three times a day?

As much as I want to make fun of her unfortunate appearance, as a woman who is losing her hair, I simply can't bring myself to do so.

/that is a woman, right?

According to an article from either yesterday or Friday, yes.

What I'd like to know is what exactly he means by "suffering from asthma"? Specifically, does the woman develop asthma after being placed on the pill? Is the doctor taking the time to see if the woman has asthma before starting the pill? Or does he mean that a woman who already has asthma is more likely to have asthma attacks if she's also taking the pill?

Women on the pill pray a lot too:

"Oh god! Oh god! Oh goddddd!!!!"

Women who are on the pill are already going to the doctor and are more likely to be diagnosed with anything. Can't get diagnosed if you don't go.

I used to have difficulty breathing when falling asleep. I can't say for sure it was because of the pill, but it never happened before I started them and it hasn't happened since I stopped taking them.

She's isn't losing it so much as it's migrating to her eyebrows.

Jack Daniels, chocolate and shopping have been around far more than 40 years.

Birth control pills cause breast cancer.

Years ago, before the internet, there was a small article in the local paper saying that scientists may have found a link between the pill and breast cancer. Then, a few days later, there were news stories everywhere debunking this as a myth. Obvious overkill. That's always a clue that what they're trying to debunk is really true.

There are MUCH, MUCH better methods of birth control than the pill.

They have significant side effects and a high rate of user error (forgetting a pill). Also, a lot of people don't realize that different women react differently to the synthetic hormones in the pill. The same pill may be too strong for some women, but not strong enough for others. Plus, they are expensive.

My wife loves her IUD. It's over 99% effective, lasts 10 years, has no hormones, and she doesn't have to remember anything.

The pill has always worked great for me and I had asthma before I started the pill so I ain't worried about that.

I ended up in the hospital because of an IUD causing me such horrible cramping & bleeding. Plus my pills are not expensive. Plus, no accidents either.

I am all for different kinds of birth control but it is an individual thing, whatever works best for you.
