780 Billion is not enough. Double that and you might make an impact on the economy. At most, this will do nothing more than mitigate some of the damage.

Doesn't the Senate and House bills have to be the exact same in order for the damn thing to pass. So if this is different and it passes then doesn't the house have to vote on this version. Add that the house will most likely make changes then I think this thing is far from over.

This is not socializing the country, it's spending money to stimulate and create jobs. At this pont, there isn't anything else to try EXCEPT to let the country fail. But to the Repubs that sounds better than if Obama were to succeed.
