I always wanted to see Ray Charles, or Jackie Wilson... but the winner would be Otis Redding.

Wow, one of them picked my number one fantasy reunion, Archers of Loaf. It'd be cool to see Pavement again, too, and Man...or Astro-Man? Those were always fun shows.

And much more obscurely, Indigo Swing.

Oh man, did they ever bring it live too. "Audiowhore" was an absolute behemoth live.

Had a chance to see the second-to-last Husker Du show ever, but somehow managed to lose my tickets the day before. Good work, dumbfark.

Oh, and UNCLE TUPELO. Can't believe that no one in that article mentioned them. They were a killer live band.

It'd be great if the Smithereens would get out of New Jersey once in a while and play some shows out west.

If you haven't heard them, Bachmann's new, well, post-Archers band Crooked Fingers if well worth checking out. They're on tour now, too, and incredible live. He's pulled out a few old Archers gems at past shows. It's not quite the same as the old days, but still pretty awesome.

I'm really not much of a fan to be honest. I mean, they're OK and all, but I loved the Archers. I miss the balls-out energy, I suppose. We all mellow with age, I guess.

Forget the "Dead Man's Party" shiat.

"Insanity," man. "Help Me." "War Again." "Mary." "Helpless." "Just Another Day."

A cover of "I Am the Walrus" that will kill your face.

Runaways, Moving Sidewalks, Commodores, and Kinks are first few that come to mind.

I would say Swervedriver, but it pains my memory... they DID reunite and play some shows in 2008 after several years apart. I found out about this 2 days after they played in Minneapolis.

So... Swervedriver again?

Maybe Lush.
Also, I'd love to have seen Tool touring with their original bassist for Undertow.

/can't believe someone in TFA picked "The Strokes"
//I mean, I don't hate them or anything, but out of anyone? ever? The Strokes?

By "out here" you mean SF?? Damn, damn, damn...I could of sworn is a just a little mini-tour on the east coast and/or Texas...

That's still 7 hours from where I am...and that'd be a Tuesday and a Wednesday...probably wouldn't have made it. That's what I'm going to tell myself, anyway.

I saw them last year. Good times. And, as I think you already know, also saw the reunited My Bloody Valentine.

FlashHarry: Camper Van Beethoven

They seem to play relatively frequently around these parts.
