Let's see. Weezer, Radiohead, Aicia Keyes, Eddie Vedder and insipid nonsense. Sounds like the Grammy Awards to me, but under a thin geeky veneer.

This is way better then the Youtube Awards and the Internet Emmys.

I already seem to have forgotten about the Grammies. How odd.

I thought this was going to be about people who make music for video games. Instead, I got a slideshow of shiat.

Pretty much.

Just give all the awards to Jesper Kyd and Martin O'Donnell.

And whoever did the sound design for Dead Space deserves an honorable mention. He also needs a "I am yet another person who ripped off Lustmord" trophy. That's not a bad thing for the horror genre though...

Oh and those Mass Effect dudes and the dudes who did Bioshock and compiled the music for it.

Rockstar needs a stern talking to right now. GTA IV and MC: LA have not been up to their usually high standards.

And lifetime achievement awards to Nobuo Uematsu and Martin Galway.

In all of my years visiting Fark, that link was the most worthless, pointless, waste of time link I have ever clicked.

But it now gives you a metric by which you can measure other links, so isn't it inherently worthwhile now?
/or did I just BLOW YOUR MIND?

Not to mention Chris Huelsbeck and Inon Zur.

Anyway, that link sucks. To make up for its horribleness, here is some awesome music technology: Fanta in Space (new window). Unbelievably, that is direct output from a Commodore 64.
