The only one that made me laughout loud this year was the Budweiser one where the guy tries to pick up the girls with the seashell, and it starts grabbing him with it's pincers. Hilarity.

The Osbournes/Odmonds one was kind of funny, too. You just can't go wrong with the Osmonds...

The only one I thought was actually funny was the FedEx parody of Castaway, where a guy is stranded on an island for 5 years, then is rescued and delivers the package he crashed trying to deliver, and it's a GPS, radio, fishing pole, etc. Not great, but better than the rest of that watered-down crowd-pleasing crap.
Although the anti-drug commercials were, as always, unintentionally funny.

The third arm was good...I liked that it grabbed the chicks a$$...

Not funny, but I liked the 3 era Jordan commercial.

The guy in the "clown-walking-on-it's-hands" costume, drinking a Bud.

I've been posting my reactions to the commercials to my site all evening. You can read what I thought of the Super Bowl commercials there.

1) Reebok w/ Terry Tate
2) The Fed-Ex / Castaway ad
3) Willie Nelson selling H&R Block

The one where they showed what was supposed to be a football game. That was great comedy.

The Castaway commercial was best. Though it was not actually all that original since most everyone with a even an ounce of a sense humor made the same joke when seeing the actual movie's ending.

I can't remember a year in which so many ads were so sexist on face. Not even latently sexist... blatantly sexist. Most were Bud Light ads, but there were plenty of others.

I only hope that they thought they were using satire to make fun of sexist men.

For my favorite, I'm taking the Osmonds/Osbournes though.

I liked that friggen Alias commercial... all 75 times that ABC showed it.

Terry Tate kicking the fark out of those people in that Reebok commercial. BEST. COMMERCIAL. EVER.

I'll also go with the office linebacker commercial. The reference to the "TPS Report" was classic.

At my SB party of 30 people, the biggest laugh came from the ever-patronizing "Drugs can make you pregnant!" propaganda.

The commercials sucked this year.

Hell, I saw repeats from last year (the SUV on snow opening gate below ground). I mean, come on. I remember a time when companies would make commercials for the Super Bowl. I saw way too many common commercials this year, and it has me thinking that 2 million for 30 seconds isn't a big deal at all anymore.

At least the game was good, as that is what people are watching for anyway.

Commercials generally suck, but this was especially a letdown in terms of originality and humor.

the preggo pot smoking girl should have a gun going through the drive-thru window and accidentally shoot a kid on her tricycle.
