That's ok, because Fred Durst can play guitar. (new window)

Hasn't Durst gotten recruited by a reality show yet?

That is a great question right there. I think to get a VH1 show you have to either a) be washed up for two decades or b) be a nobody.

I dont know which one of these he fits into.

Limp Bizkit are the Pauly Shore of music.

Meanwhile, Fred Durst is a great big important movie director now, according to some morans.

hey, Ill admit to liking a few Limp songs, but solely on the music. There's some good riffage going on in "Break stuff" for example

But man, can this singer totally ruin a band with his inane posturing. And he REALLY had NOTHING to sign about.

Okay.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, HappyHarryHardOn. Now that the dust has settled I find myself mildly intrigued by the band. They are actually a fairly competent group of musicians. Ruined of course, by wigger douche wannabe tough guy macho turd Durst. I'd listen to an instrumental version of their albums at least once.

You need a Zoloft, you sound sandy today.

But what's that about YES? When did Yes come into play here? But if you're referring that I would insult prog rock in other threads but here I am admitting to liking Bizkit, its very simple. Like the farker mentioned above, if you strip away the lyrics, i find some of those simple, direct and damn brutal riffs enjoyable. SOme of them. 3 and a half song, to be precise. DOn't get me wrong, the rest is the shiat you think it is, trust me

praising any Limp Bizkit song, even just one, does call your music taste into question. Sorry, I don't write the rules, I just tell it like it is.

But what's that about YES Bill Hicks? When did Yes Bill Hicks come into play here? But if you're referring that I would insult prog rock smart comedy in other threads but here I am admitting to liking Bizkit Dane Cook, its very simple. An ironic twist on your comment, while certainly accurate, is that based on the amount of derision and contempt Farkers show for the Bible and its fans, pushing one's opinions as "gospel truth" on here could actually be read as "officious-sounding satirical humor."

I'd buy that as an explanation for MSL's brutal, Limp-Bizkit-esque delivery of opinion.

The Glass Dragon: Black Light Burns > Limp Bizkit

I've heard that opinion on the new band as well from music critics. Wes is an innovative showman that, from what I can tell from interviews, never understood or even really liked Durst. "Chocolate Starfish" was Fred's nickname, given by the band IIRC.

A band affiliation does not define an artist... remember that (an extreme case) Paul McCartney was in both the Beatles and Wings.

Huh, the only musically talented member of a band from yesteryear doesn't want to come back, after their last album without him sank without a trace and he started a successful career with a band of his own.

Fancy that.
