Can't wait. Show Your Bones was really terrific.

To be fair, only Karen wears ridiculous outfits.

The other guys just look kind of goth.

...and the drummer looks like a miniature Max Weinberg.

Say what you will - but '07 YYY EP "Is Is" is f)cking fantastic. An incredible artistic statement from beginning to end that just happens to rock. Excellent, original guitar playing certainly doesn't hurt.

Ugh, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were the worst band I ever paid money to see. They've been praised so heavily, I figured they'd be good, and hey, they were opening for DEVO.

Honestly, no. They were shiate. Bad music, horrible vocalist, lame "songs" and fans that are total douchebags. Pass.

/In all seriousness, when addressing a crowd of rain-soaked concertgoers who have finally caught a weather break, do *not* say "Where's the rain?! We want the rain!"
//Though the singer was quite pissed when someone yelled out "D-E-V-O!" when she said "I wanna spell something for you..."

Do I care?

No no no.

But I still managed to find my way in here and comment.

What I've heard has been pretty good. Two internet thumbs up!

Fever To Tell was disappointing with Maps being friggin awesome.

Show Your Bones was good all the way through.

I haven't heard Is Is.

They will rock your face off live, Karen O is nutty.

Geeze, talk about a band being 23 minutes into their 15 minutes of
fame...

Ditto. If this new one is as good as is is we could have something

Is that like being 78 spaces into your allotted 255 spaces and mysteriously hitting a page break anyway?

Nah, it means they've missed their window of opportunity.

Musically worthless band.

I like what I've heard so far. I think they're more interesting than the bulk of the radio traffic.

I have seen them 5 times and love them. Your anti-endorsement just seals the deal. Great band.

/seriously- are you ever right about anything musically?

Easily the best band out there right now in my opinion, I've had the pleasure of seeing them twice and they were great. Looking forward to the new album.

Can't attest to the live music (some people suck live, no matter how much they try).

Really enjoy their studio work, through.
