Actually thats not true anymore, but I remember when I was younger and took spring break with a ton of friends we decided to check out the southernmost point, cool for 17 year olds! Well we got down there just before dark and got our pic then scouted for a hotel, when we drove around looking for it you could say we got quite a surprise, its when we saw men sucking face in the street that we decided to drive all the way back up to key largo to get a campsite. That bridge is fun at night!

That being said, there are not nearly the saturation today that there was back then, quite a few resorts are down there now and cruise ships dock almost daily and have run them out.

But it still shows kenny is most likely closeted since he over reacted just from the appearance, even though hes good friends with jimmy buffet.

I grew up in a fairly rural area, too. Went to Key West with the family over New Years when I was 16 and witnessed a cross-dresser being lowered to the ground in a giant stiletto at midnight. I also saw plenty of dude-on-dude makeout sessions and a few who attempted to give me beer with police in clear sight. It didn't bother me one bit. If you're too uptight to handle it, Key West is definitely not the place for you.

I think at that age, unless your a homophobe, religious zealot or redneck, most would learn that how other people live their lives has absolutely zero effect on yours.

But what the hell, maybe it's just my progressive nature.
