He tells XXL magazine, "Nas is cold as ice.

Fiddy went on to say that "He's willing to sacrifice our love," and further derided Nas' ability to take advice.

50 also mentioned Nas's future financial matters and the settlement of outstanding debts. He's seen this kind of thing before. It happens all the time.

At one time he might have been a jukebox hero, but now it is urgent that he do something to salvage his career.

Rappers, even the super-successful ones, seem like the most insecure bunch of pansies on the planet. Always talking about disrespectin' this and disrespectin' that, just grow the fark up already. How anyone can enjoy such success in such a cutthroat industry and still be so seemingly thin-skinned is beyond me.

I dare say Mr. Cent had a note of pressing concern in his voice.

/Why can't he decide that Kanye West is DONE?

While Nas has been on the steady decline, until Mr. 50 puts out something half as good as Illmatic, his whore mouth, he best shut it.

agreed. fifty needs to grow some talent to match his giant balls- he gets annihilated by everyone he pisses off, and just keeps running his mouth anyway.

50 Cent better kiss the asses of his financial advisors every day for that advice to buy that stake in vitamin water. 50 cent could buy nas' whole portfolio and burn it.

I am no Nas fan, which separates me from almost every other hip-hop fan on the planet, but 50's last album got pushed back 3 times and was a flop compared to expectations. 50's skills as a rapper couldn't hold a farking candle to Nas, and although he seems like a decent guy in interviews and whatnot, he needs to STFU on this topic, because his own music career is on life support.

FTFY. Nas at his worst is better than 50 Cent's best. My interest in Rap has dwindled and I haven't listened to Nas' newest CD but the one before that was pretty strong.

*I took out the half because 50 has put out an album better than half as good as I am, but still not as good. Does that make sense?

SubBass49 2009-01-28 04:51:41 PM
Fiddy needs to STFU & DIAF...kind of like the house his baby-momma was supposed to receive in a settlement, right?

He's garbage...over-rated trash...would still be sticking people up in NYC if Dre hadn't rescued his mush-mouthed ass.

Gunny Highway 2009-01-28 04:53:56 PM
Mr. Slippyfist: but the one before that was pretty strong.

Was that one Street's Disciple? Because I really liked that album.

This is just a promotion. It is all part of the game.

His first album is awesome. But you have your whole life to write your first album. After that he just became any other pop star.

"I take you to the Candy Shop" *sigh*

I was talking about Hip Hop is Dead, but Street's Disciple was really good too (didn't need to go 2 disc on that but that's ok).

I'm definitely listening to some Nas on my way home, might even pick up his new CD. Thanks 50 Cent.

/50 Cent shouldn't be talking shiat about any rapper that has put out an album which is in everyone's top 10 rap albums of all time. Not with the nonsense he's released that he calls "songs".

Please let me know when you are going to be in my town, so I can line up early to get tickets and a good seat for the parade.

50 doesn't need to do ANYTHING. The man is worth half a billion dollars. No, thats not a typo.

I like 50. Yeah, his stuff isn't the greatest ever layed down, but i respect the man, himself. He came from nothing, had a goal (get rich or die trying), and achieved it. He actually seems like a friendly guy to the public, too.

Pengfish 2009-01-28 06:21:34 PM
His career started talking shiat and carries on. All he contributes to hip hop is negativity and "beef" and is best ignored.

/He probably did hear Nas' album.
//And probably was real hurt by it.
///Tears of a clown when no one's around?

He might want to take notice that his own last album bricked and his new single has zero people interested. People want the fabled new Eminem album and the mythic new Dr. Dre album, but who gives a rat's ass about Curtis these days?

According to NAS, hip hop (as a whole), is dead.

^^ Great song.

Ha, yea I get ya. I would still rather listen to mediocre Nas than the best Fiddy has to offer any day

Made me think of Rick James with the shoes on the couch and what not with the cold as ice quote. Don't get me wrong, 50 is allright. But wasn't he supposed to retire when Kanye outsold him or am I the only one that saw that.

it was a publicity stunt designed to help them sell more records. Even without it, Kanye would have still sold more.
