Scott Storch. I think it costs at least $80,000 to get him to produce one track for you, according to some interview I read with some rapper. He's apparently one of the more in demand ones as well.

You EEDIYOT! That just means they'll have to WORK MORE. Which means more lame R&B for us.

Sarcastica75: Oh, no.

I know. I was working in Atlanta during the summer of 2005 and a radio station had a celebrity softball game with folks like Ludachris, Cierra, and some other folks. Well T-Boz from TLC was there and she was just fresh of her divorce from Mack 10. She was posing for some pictures and I yelled over to her "Get with me and I won't treat you bad" or something a drunk person would say. Anyway she looked in my direction for a long time (10 seconds) before turning the other way so either she was digging me or trying to see if it was worth the time to sick her bodyguard on me. She should of tried to hang with me cause up til this past Friday I was gainfully employed so take that.

//Not really she is a nice person but bad with money.

I happen to be white. I also don't like a lot of rap music. My profile remains accurate.

The bad news is that these people are going to try and put more crap on the radio to cover their debts.

I read somewhere Fantasia Barrino (I don't care if I spelled that right) is functionally illiterate (so she probably can't spell her name anyways). I think it's amazing that someone can be considered successful without learning to read. Terrible.

T.M.S. [TotalFark] 2009-01-26 01:27:05 AM
Fugees co-founder Jean, 36, has sold more than 50million albums during a glittering career. But his unfinished Miami Beach mansion was put up for auction last month after he failed to keep up payments on a £1.5million mortgage.

1.5M pounds is hardly a great deal of money for someone who sold as many records as he has. Sure its a lot of dough to most people but a person in his position should have been able to pay cash for that home and still have enough left over in the years earnings to furnish it properly. That price is only around double what an upper middle class New Yorker would pay for a decent, yet unremarkable, apartment.

Probably bought too many Maybach's.

I'm gonna guess if he defaults he is still not going to be homeless.

The Great EZE [TotalFark] 2009-01-26 01:45:19 AM
This is Fark, so I'm not expected to read the article. Are we talking about R&B or rap? Personally, I'm not a fan of either genre but there's a difference. If we're talking about faux tough guy label whores "spitting" incoherent and senseless lyrics (rap), that's fine. If we're talking about rather talented singers who are content to just moan out some 4:00 atonal mess devoid of melody (R&B), well, that's too bad. They're not my bag, but I can see a use for their existence.
