Actually, what he really meant was making your guy "wear a rainsuit in the shower" once he's bought the ring, made the committment and gone through all the rigamarole of saying the "I do" bit is grounds for divorce, and I agree.
Don't want kids, signor or signora? There's other options. Not sure you're not carrying any diseases? Better wait for the tests, kids, before saying "I do.". Plan on screwing around outside of marriage, unprotected, with folks whose sexual health you're not sure of? Then why the hell are you getting married?

Every once in awhile, somebody says something so horrible that there is absolutely NOBODY I know that I can paste it to, so I just have to muffle my snickering and hope God can't hear me.

This is one of those times.

I don't think the concepts exclude each other. Some rapes amount to torture through using a sexual method. Other ones are attempts on the part of a male to breed outside of his class.
