I only noticed this now but Sarah Connor sounds suspiciously like Sauerkrauter. Thanks for exposing that link, Subby!

Listening to Kraftwerk is like a vacation from the vile obscenity that is the human condition.

Funny that the band certainly suffered from the human condition.

1974. Biggest drunk stoner in school (yeah, 9th grade) turns up raving about Autobahn.

1975. Buy Radioactivity at a Sears.

1976. Hear synths live for first time, at a university music dept. Synth covers half a wall, top to bottom.

1982. Yamaha CS-15 is mine. Downhill from there.

That's not a live performance. It's sync. That said, some nice gear shots.

I've got a first-pressing vinyl copy of The Man-Machine framed on my wall. Such an awesome album.

I learned about them in the Rave scene. They're awesome but I hate how they use their songs during Sporting Events. That pisses me off so damn much.

I don't think I've ever heard Kraftwerk at a sporting event...!

Is this a joke?

The idea of the dudes all dressed up in the Raiders' "Black Hole" getting pumped up to "Pocket Calculator" is funny at least.

I always knew they were awesome robots. I thought it was obvious.
