I use another last name as a synonym for "Douche" but find that "Wentz" works nicely. It makes me lol.

I thought that the subby misspelled Wendt and wondered "What does he have against the guy that played Norm?" I clicked to find that it was someone I don't know.

Being Famous Sucks: I tried to refer to someone as "a total soggy wentz" the other day, but no one got it.

Hopefully it will catch on soon in the "real world". I tried to use it the other day also, but to no avail. Then I had to explain Fark, and how it started, etc - then my friends really thought I was weird.

As for the pic of Wentz - I'm glad it got it's own thread. That is probably the most perfect example of wentz-ness I have ever seen. It should be studied in school.

I think the word "douchebag" has become too commonplace and is almost turning into a compliment when used in the right context. I can think of other examples, but they're probably all filtered by Fark.

Anyway, now instead of calling people douchebags, I like to call them "dickbags". I hope this catches on.

I have been thinking the same thing about all this Wentz stuff for the last few weeks - I thought maybe he had done some standup routine about how he hates Jews or something for everyone to suddenly dislike him. Forgot it was spelt differently of course, been a long time since I watched Cheers.

Welcome to the Real Life vs. Internet Cliche Information Gap. I recently tried to explain the (hopefully) outdated idea of "Rick Rolling" to a few people. They didn't get that one, either. The few cliches they do recognize, they think were created by the Family Guy writers (including the infamous "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" dancing banana).

And yeah, I also tried explaining how Family Guy mostly just references other sources and has precious little actual original material. They didn't get that either.
