That makes two all of us.

He hasn't done that shiat in like eight years. And he wasn't associated with the Sinatra mix at all, I believe.

Now it's about taking clips of Santogold and MIA songs and just rapping over it.

/three of these four have been produced by the musical genius that is Kanye West, hmm
//Blueprint 2 was Jay's worst (until recently)

I'm not just bored with Jay-Z, I'm bored with all of these wankers who crap lyrics all over good tunes.

Maybe this time he'll rap over a sample of a Radiohead sample, to be more cutting-edge.

what an artist.

Kanye West doesn't care about good music.

I actually like some Jay-Z and I think the Unplugged album is great, but I won't spend one nickel on anything associated with that Wentz, Kayne.

Here's Jay-Z in the studio rapping over Fugazi's demo of "Closed Captioned" from the "Instrument" soundtrack (0:25 - 1:00): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh003Czlx3g

Shocking...

Kanye West already did that.

Well, it was a song from the Thom Yorke album, and it wasn't just Kanye. It was Kanye, Lupe Fiasco, and Pharell Williams.

Musical genius? No. Not even close.

I actually think the guy's talented and shows some pretty good taste. I'm curious to hear what he comes up with.

Say what you will about his current direction, but Kanye did some great production a few years back. Every song he produced on Scarface's The Fix was fantastic.

Guess Who's Back is a personal favourite, as is another track with the same three rappers on it from The Dynasty, This Can't Be Life. I hope they set it up to come out at the same time as Eminem's album, as they're both big fans of each other and I think the friendly rivalry would be good for both of them.

The Blueprint was probably the best hip hop album of the decade one one of my tops of all times, and I don't even really listen to hip hop anymore.

Blueprint 2, a few songs. Could have been good had it been 1 cd.

Came here to say this exact thing. I still pull it out and give it a spin from time to time. The Blueprint and Outkast's Aquemini are two albums that keep me somewhat hopeful about getting another great hip-hop album sometime.

The song is called "Straight to Hell". Don't ever spit on The Clash like that again.

I'm just happy that "Wentz" is now a descriptive term.
