Well I WAS planing on just killing myself with heroin while making my crappy music, but this is so much cheaper.

Say what you want about STP, but I find that most people who don't like them only know their stuff from Core - which is my least favorite album of theirs by far. Purple is one of the greatest pure rock albums of the 90's, and Tiny Music, while it flies under the radar, is one of the most subtle and emotional albums I've ever heard. That's probably my favorite. (Check out "3 Caged Tigers").Of course, Weiland would be nothing without the ridiculously smooth and tasteful bass of Rob DeLeo and the killer guitar tones of his brother Dean.

STP reprezent!

I didn't care for that band until I saw them live, and then...I was in.

Great music, but not someone I want to take fashion cues from.

I'd say i enjoyed everything from Purple through Shangri-La Dee Da, save for No. 4, which I thought was hit and miss at best.

not an STP fan here and I'll at least give 1 good reason why. That man SUCKS live. If what I've been hearing on Atlanta's 96.1 (rebroadcasting a live concert he played here last week) he sounds nothing like he does on the album live. It sounded like someone has his balls in a vice or something. How does one's voice appear 3-4 octaves deeper on tape vs on stage?

/FAIL
//They sucked anyway
///It's ALTERNATIVE not rock

Love STP, VR was kinda meh, Weiland is a douche. But Core and No. 4 were excellent albums... as was everything pretty much minus Shangri-la-dee-da.

Thanks for posting this. I found a link to all of STP's music videos in there:

nice!

STP is great - if you don't realize such things than it's clear that your ears are still developing.

indeed nice one .. i bet there's another set of holes in the belt much closer to the buckle.

re deeper voice - Autotune not required for a deeper voice any half assed singer knows how to sound deeper whilst hitting the same pitches - Bono or Bowie although are experts - also there is somehting called proximity effect whe using dynamic mics - and there is also the fact the live sound esp outdoors is a whole diff thing from studio sound .
