How amazingly refreshing to hear a solid, restrained sax solo instead of that godawful 80's blatting sax that's been all over the radio for the past 25 years.

1) The guy was great. Sadly, I thought he was already dead.

2) You can still use 'album' because it is a means of showing a collection. Regardless of what people might think CDs are albums; they just arent albums made on 12" of vinyl.

Got to play with him a couple of times, most notably at the '87 Montreux Jazz Festival.

I played with him once, and yes, he was an absolutely WONDERFUL man. So gracious to students. He will be missed.
