For it to retail at $250 initially, they would have cost roughly $125 wholesale to Barneys. For Benjamin Bixby to have made money, it would have cost about $40-60 to make depending on the quality of the fabric and where it was assembled. Nothing costs .99 to make anymore, unless it was made for Steve and Barry's, which is now out of business.

I feel bad for Andre as he has truly fabulous taste in menswear. However, the timing of launching a line like this is just unfortunate. It's a nice line, very upscale and sophisticated, while most "rappers" have all this logoed shiat all over their clothes, which is just nasty and tacky to the nth degree.
