Maybe half a minute later, he sits up straight in the driver's seat and drives away. Pulling into traffic, he waves at a cop crossing the street toward the precinct. I could see from the cop's face that he realized what was happening. But he looked like he couldn't be bothered with it that day.

I have two other stories that no one ever believes, one involving a black panther and her kittens living free in metro Atlanta, the other involving Mr. Rogers and a bong.
