Isn't a ceasefire where theres an agreement on both sides for a cessation of violence?
I don't see a merging of the Hamas/Egypt plan here with the Israeli one.

The rockets will be fired into Israel again. Some people do not accept peace with israel, fark them, they messed with a real military, that military messed right back. Not that Hamas cares about their citizens, they are just seen as potential martyrs.

It's probably difficult for two adversaries to reach an agreement on anything when one side's only ideological goal is to kill every single human being in your country. Whether you believe Israel should exist or not, it should be pretty obvious that reasoning with heavily indoctrinated, religious extremists is out of the question.
