15 minutes is all this guy could come up with for his farewell address? Lame duck is lame.

Flock of Geese was a terrible band, and isn't it a gaggle of geese?

For a Psychiatrist, this guy does not seem well balanced and he definitely seems to be on one side of the couch. That being said, I put most psychiatrists in the same boat as most lawyers and all tow truck drivers.

Bush should have come out, yelled "BOOYEAH!", flipped us off, and doe-see-doed off stage. It would have been something I'd never seen him do before.

And 54 million Americans are to blame for re-electing him.

Upstaged? No, it served to illustrate the vast improvements in Homeland Security, intermingled with clearly higher standards for aircraft design and pilot skill that have resulted from GW's stalwart focus on securing our nation. Through all the vitriolic spew he has withstanded since he became President, he again reminds us at the end that he is watching out for us, and we can only hope that Obama's womb provides such genuine love for country.

Wow, that was utterly infuriating to read. Crippling a reputation that is ultimately downtrodden prior to any thoughtful analysis is clearly a symptom of pseudo-intellectualism built upon a foundation of procrustean arguments and a self-righteous inability to empathize.

I do not normally consider hatred for a man, but goddamn dude, why the fark did you do all this shiat to us?

one can only hope that obama will be any better. not hard, but ive become pessimistic towards politicians in the past 8 years

DarnoKonrad 2009-01-16 11:16:10 PM
I'd say anyone who's been watching his recent appearances sees a deeply disturbed, damaged, and deluded psyche.

I damn near feel sorry for him, and then I remember how many human lives he's ruined -- and deep down the cock sucker knows it -- which is what all the put on a 'brave face' bullshiat is about.

He's never really figured out this isn't little league, and losing the big game isn't about bluffing a firm handshake and a tip of the cap.

No argument here...

But if Bush appointed a Treasury Sec, who didnt pay his taxes and an attorney general who played a roll in the pardon of Marc Rich. The media would be all over it.

Part of that is the retardation and part is coke damage. He's probably been sober about a 1/3 of his time in office.

paulieY2J: The media

Christ. Which is why they've been talking about it for a week now -- with interviews from Republicans on the hill that are going to vote for both of those dudes because they're the right guys for the right job.

Start drinking wingnut lite. It's less filling.

The media Pfft. 30 years of GOP shilling hasn't been enough?

They guy did pay his taxes. He paid late and also paid late fees. But yeah that's just disgraceful for anyone aspiring to high office.

It just goes to show you what desperate straits Bush has left us in. Senate Republicans are barely giving off a whimper about either Geithner or Holder. In past years they'd have fought tooth and nail to keep them from being confirmed.

Uh, the media didn't even report that Brown's qualifications was failing as a horse judge commissioner until after the Katrina fiasco.

Normally you have to wait until someone farks up before you call something a "disaster". Bush has earned that title. We'll have to wait and see how Obama turns out.
