Talk to a nurse. There's a shortage of nurses these days so they bounce around from place to place because they're generally treated like crap wherever they go. From my hospital group I can count three managers, and two "teams" that have been completely killed, not to mention the halt of all construction. Yes there's money in healthcare, but they've been as crazy with it as the finance market and now that times are tight some of the bloat is going. Not that it's going to get any cheaper mind you, just more confusing.

Oh, if that's your point then yes, probably. But she still could have worked twice as hard to get said job, there's a lot of competition for irrelevant administrative positions. I don't know what her title was or what she was responsible for, my point is that hospitals are "reorganizing" to such a degree that many of those positions are being eliminated, future first lady or not.

The company I work for is going to cut around 1000 salaried jobs this year. Through retirement and combining jobs (They will shift the work load)
Besides very few people who make THAT kind of money do very much work.
I do remember her being criticized during the campaign for the work she did do...

I think the point he was making was that she got her job because Obama was a poltical up and comer, could siphon money their way and it was purely a Back Scratching thing. She didn't actually *earn* a living at that job, but rather got free money so her hubby would take care of the Hospital.
