I was gonna reply, but my GIS failed in turning up the picture of Randy Marsh running around town in his underwear, screaming "Obama!" all the while.

It's supposed to be 37 degrees with the wind blowing at 10mph.

Lotsa luck.

Dude,

Springsteen better be careful. He might go looking for super mutants at the memorial only to find slavers. Don't give the slavers any of lincoln's swag. Keep it for yourself. More fun to lead the slaves to the memorial and let them blast at the slavers while you blast away at everyone with a MIRV, of course being assisted by your ghoul sidekick and super intelligent super mutant who you only have because your dog was accidentally killed by a deathclaw that swiped off his little doggie head inside a cabin in Girdershade while you were busy killing the remaining inhabitant of the town for his sweet, sweet shotgun.

Of course, it's important to enslave any surviving slaves after the battle. But I digress...

OF COURSE he is; he has to keep up his salt-of-the-earth, massively rich, liberal credentials.

Gotta love wealthy populists.

And yeah, I first saw him in the early 70s and went to 20+ shows over the years before I wised up and stopped listening to musicians with 1 semester of post high school education for their political views.

Don't listen to him for his political views, then. And stop reading David Brooks for his vivid tales of coming of age in New Jersey.

I hate Bruce Springsteen with a passion. I think God is merciful because he is only the second lamest singer to come out of New Jersey. I think he would have been a mediocre poet, but sadly he insists delivering his work like someone trying to bass a hay bale out of his asshole. He's like Bob Dylan for people who huff air duster for breakfast.

That being said,

Why the hell are you people talking about him stuffing political views down peoples throats? He's only been doing political stuff for the past 30 years or so....

I tried to come up with a clever "new boss, same as old boss" wordplay involving Obama and Springsteen's nickname, but it didn't pan out.

I was talking with a couple coworkers here in VT who are headed down for the celebration/mob scene. Those temps will be a welcome relief! When we hit those #s up here, the high school kids are in shorts and flip flops.

How did you get that mutant again?

Four score and twenty years ago Bruce started his music career...It's time to retire Bruce, you make McCain look young.

Billy McGoodGuy: Bruce's decision to start stuffing his political views down people's throats was a huge disappointment. He used to keep quiet. Everyone knew how he felt, but he always declined to inject his personal political opinions into his interviews or music. Now, the only time you hear from him is when he is telling everyone who to vote for.

Note to Bruce- shut the hell up about politics and please, please, please go back to being a person who writes songs for everyone. We get it. You hate Bush, you like Obama. Now, can we hear a song about Mary or some down on his luck factory worker please?

He has been a lot more outspoken about politics in recent years, though I saw him in Columbus, OH last March and he kept it to himself for the most part. I thought he'd make a big production out of it, seeing how it was election year and all. Great show, too.
