The more and more Kanye talks, the more and more I hate him. And I thought his last album (Graduation) was excellent in every way for a pop Hip Hop album. That album made me respect him.

After seeing his glow in the dark tour, I really changed my view.

Now he called Beyonce the best entertainer of this generation and puts Lil Wayne at the top of lyrycists? Jay Z is way better than Lil Wayne, and i'm sure Lupe Fiasco would love a few words with kanye about that also. Lil Wayne is OK, but damn there are much better hip hop/rappers out there.

Oh, and he might be more racist than Bush.

Less famous people have more freedom to do what they want.

It's like the situation of Hollwood movies versus Indie films.

Hollywood can't take chances, meanwhile the indie films churn out interesting and different films all the time.

I agree with the rest of your post, and though I'm not a rap fan, even I thought the overuse of the autotune by one of the supposedly more creative talents* in the field would use a device that is already way overused was much worse than his previous work.


And what's stopping from Kanye from creating some seriously creative music? True, it would possibly alienate more fans than bring in new ones, but you're making music for the wrong reasons if that's what stunts your creativity.

That was the first SNL I'd watched in a very long time, and the first time I'd seen/heard Kanye perform. After watching it, I thought for sure I was getting too old too fast, because man, that sucked.

Then I found out later that no, it really did suck. It wasn't just the generation gap. Whew.
