Real men are not afraid to show off what FSM gave them. Of course, if you don't have anything to show off, or are afraid of your sexuality, then shorts are certainly the way to go.

I was in Grenada a few months ago and I was told to take off my pants in the Airport because they were combats/camoflage and warned I'd be arrested if I was seen wearing them again.

If Speedos/banana hammocks become illegal, wouldn't women wearing bikini bottoms also be illegal.

They had me (cause I HATE baggy pants and speedos ... ugh!) right up until this line:
"Any time you allow lawlessness to start taking effect on your country, you have a problem," he said.

Then I was like, what?

You made it that far? They lost me at:
a campaign aimed at "bringing back morality into the country".

Governments should stay the fark away from morality.

Well, some countries are like that, trying to enforce the whole morality thing. It's kind of universal. I'm not saying I agree with it, but branding speedos and baggy pants as criminal is a little psychotic.

I'd have no problem with showing off what the FSM gave me, but I'd likely scar someone with what Burger King gave me :p

It's more about courtesy to the other guys than being ashamed of your junk.

Not necessarily.

There are some decent reasons to wear camouflage, most of which involve shooting at or observing nature, though I will admit that even for most deer hunters, wearing camo is more a fashion statement than a necessity: A decent contrasting plaid breaks up your outline to a deer just about as well as those "photorealistic" camo patterns.

Now, it's a different story for turkeys which have excellent color vision. You *NEED* to be effectively camouflaged head to toe when you are hunting them.

They should invent baggy speedos.

They're bringing morality back
Them Speedo boys, they don't know how to act
You'll go to jail now if you show your crack
They don't want to see your berries, that's a fact

I see enough ugly and overweight people at the beach. I show up in my Speedos and get my Speedo tan. My Speedo tan looks grrreat. If someone at the beach complains, I toss a doughnut at them and they go away.

And, my package looks great.

"i think i'll wear my speedo today while i go shopping. my speedo and my baseball cap and nothing else!"

Do you really need to ask that question?

I don't think that wearing camo pants in an airport means that he is a hunter, I think it means he is a redneck

As a kid I lived about 2 miles from the original Speedo factory. Speedos are a normal and unremarkable part of daily life when you grow up girt by sea. Given most Americans don't grow up in a beach culture I can sort of understand why they get all breathless about budgie smugglers, I don't know what the Grenadians excuse is.

Yeah... in France! (or in parts of Maine (Old Orchard) and Florida (Miami) where the Quebeckers go). The rest of North America's beach communities are thankfully speedo-free! Get with the program, Mr. Marble-sack.
