I'm pretty sure that potato looks like John the Baptist.

Maybe the farmer should put him in some water (boiling) and then celebrate his resurrection with some wine.

That's just plain damn weird.

A true ChristianTM would see John the Baptist. I think you should get your eyes checked because you are obviously looking through the rose colored lens of the devil.

Is it a deadly vampire bat?

No.

It is actually a russet potato grown by Mrs. R. Smith of Piccolo County. But the resemblance is quite eerie. Ehh HA HA HA HA HA !!!!

Doug: That's IT? A potato?

Judy: What did I tell you!?

Phil: Well, we won't make it to the Rattling Rocks on time...

I looked up the quotes and the only place I could find them was this thread, in the post made by you (and now, mine)! So, please tell me where that's from.

As others have said - Mandrake. They really do exist, though. They have carrot-like roots that occasionally look like rough human forms (think stone-age statues.) The leaves, in small doses, IIRC, make you hallucinate. The roots, fresh or dried and in very small doses, can kill someone rather quickly and painfully by causing their lungs to stop functioning.

I keep it around because it smells nice when burned and helps me meditate for rituals. It'll probably end up giving me cancer or something.

Strange movie but entertaining. Oddly enough that was the scene that stuck with me the most, which is why I caught it.

scifarker:
//Why the heck do we label hotlinking?

because hot linking eats up someone else's band width, and basically.. rude... in the grand interwebbing scheme of things. so when you acknowledge that the link, is hot.. it's acknowledges that material is not your own and takes some of the culpability out of it.

so, basically, stating that the picture is hot linked meens that you are not taking credit for someone else's work.

get it?
