I can so relate to this, thanks for reminding me to put the kids Christmas pic with Santa in my profile. Similar situation.

Especially when one of the cats is of the canine variety.

I can help this guy out:

1) Tie the cats up in a bag

2) Throw it the river

3) Keep the Boston Terrier...they're great little dogs.

Jesus I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Middle cat in pic 5 is priceless

My personal fav is pic 3. Just like the cat to start something.

If you'll notice in pic 1, the cat, that starts it all, already looks like he's about to go all "Hulk Smash!" on his idiot owner.

How is this a fail? Did someone elses pets get into the shot?

FunkOut [TotalFark] 2009-01-11 05:48:14 PM
The cat in the middle is clearly an asshole who ruined it for everyone else. I feel sorry for the cat on the left, he just looks worried right from the start.

MAYORBOB 2009-01-11 05:49:13 PM
Foolish man. He'd have had a shot with dogs. Cats don't take direction all that well.

I lol'ed, especially at picture #5. That middle cat is truly the devil's spawn. I also love how there are three computers to match the three pets. That guy's got a raging social life, I can tell.

What you do you mean the cat started it? The dog started it. I can tell from the blurry pixels and seeing a few dog/cat fights in my time.

Men like dogs because they are pack animals and as such operate on hierarchies. They seek to be told what to do. They are pre-programmed to do as they are told and designed by nature and breeding to be an utterly loyal subordinate.

A cat is an animal that has no pack instinct, it's a loner by nature. It chooses where and how to associate with people and animals. Loyalty is conditional, and behaviour is unpredictable... much like people themselves are. A lot of men are threatened by that.

Me, I'm man enough to have pets that can take me or leave me, because the ones that like me, are loyal because of friendship, not instinct, and I respect the ones that don't like me, because they're totally honest, not some BS nonsense.

That having been said I also like Pugs, because the ones I have met are more independent, and intelligent than regular dogs.

Or you're just an aloof person, thus relating more easily to pets that require only minimal interaction and zero training. Meanwhile, dogs aren't happy unless their owners provide positive attention and some kind of training, much like raising a child. This kind of commitment is unappealing to people who are inherently childish or otherwise self-absorbed.

Phrasing things in a douchey way is fun, isn't it?

yeah, speaking of BS nonsense, your little hypothesis about men and dogs allows us to make a prediction: if men like dogs because they're pack animals, then men should all kids of dogs.

Let's test that prediction. How many guys like dogs similar to this?
www.majhost.com

Now, unless you can modify your hypothesis to explain why men aren't rushing out to buy paris hilton-like toy-dogs, it is rejected.

Also, if you think your cat is "loyal because of friendship" then you are laughably naive.

NTidd 2009-01-11 06:37:10 PM
Wulfhardt I agree Ikahoshi is a douche. Talking about cats' "loyalty" is funny. Claiming men are threatened by cats = instant fail.

I'm guessing that's when he got clawed in the nads by one of the animals attempting to escape. Moral of the story: wear long pants if you plan to force unwilling cats to sit in your lap and look cute.
