Orange Crush: There's a huge difference in using slang and using filler words like "you know" to the point it is so distracting from the message being given. Palin is a good public speaker, as we saw in her Convention speech. She can speak without a teleprompter unlike Obama, who , um, uses those filler words too.

Oddly enough, without a teleprompter...obama can still make sense. If Palin isn't repeating word for word from a talking point, she says things about oil molecules being fungible and she forgets the names of newspapers and stupidly obvious political positions.

It's amusing how every leftwing just takes Tina Fey's exxageration of Palin as factual and accurate portrayal.
