If they fade up on the first episode and it's Hannity and Sharpton sitting at a piano and singing "Ebony and Ivory" then I will Tivo every episode.

I'm surprised Bachmann will be opening her mouth in front of a TV camera again. No wait, I'm not. Should be fun to see how deep that rabbit hole goes.

I love watching Al Sharpton. He's usually all over the map and it makes for enjoyable viewing!

His performance at the presidential debates in the primaries was classic television.

What will it be like for Hannity to face someone who will actually stand up to him?

Finally Hannity is up against somebody that is as dumb as he is.

Really? You think Sharpton will stand up to him? Seems to me, Sharptontends to be rather...fawningly obsequious when in the room with someone and saves his vitriolic blatherings for later on.

degreeless 2009-01-09 10:28:09 AM
Once you peel away the "Dat's raciss" schtick, Al Sharpton is actually a pretty funny guy who doesn't take himself nearly as seriously as the other professional race baiters.

Sharpton is a jackass for letting his agenda get the better of him in many cases but he is not a stupid man. Hannity, however, I honestly do think is a stupid person.

This might make for pretty good TV.

Maybe they'll smear each other in shiat and Hannity can blame Obama while Sharpton can blame Bush!

Kinda like a Fark politics thread acted out on the telly.

They shoulda replaced colmes with Kirsten Powers... way smarter than colmes... and can she find much better arguments than colmes ever did. ratings would skyrocket. (I've met colmes a couple times... he's even more of a dufuss in person than he is on screen.)

Looks like it's all taken care of.

Alan Colmes had pretty much been a staple on the show for years. I'm not sure where you are getting this.

Barack the Magic Negro lives in D.C.
The L.A. Times, they called him that
'Cause he's not authentic like me.
Yeah, the guy from the L.A. paper
Said he makes guilty whites feel good
They'll vote for him, and not for me
'Cause he's not from the hood.

See, real black men, like Snoop Dog,
Or me, or Farrakhan
Have talked the talk, and walked the walk.
Not come in late and won!

Did anyone see Al Sharpton on MSNBC this morning?

He had real sane input on the Blagojevich scandal.

In fact Al Sharpton said he thought Blagojevich only picked Burris because he was black.

Oh wait, I am sorry this Fark! Everyone go back to attacking Al Sharpton as being black racist nut even though this hasn't been true for some time now.

Why is Meatloaf appearing as a pundit, ffs?

You just KNOW any question that they ask him, he's just gonna default to one of two answers:

(a) Let me sleep on it.

(b) I'd do anything for America, but I won't do that.

/Sharpton & Bachmann are OK guests. Two out of three ain't bad.

And if he stumbles over a question and they call him on it, he'll just look at them and scream, "I remember everything!
I remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday!"

He actually had the most sane things to say about this scandal then anyone I have heard so far.

he said:

A) Even though you might not like Blagojevich has done and he may be impeached the appointment of Burris is legal and he should be made a senator. Also he pointed out all of Blagojevich other duties are not be challenged including pardons.

B) When he was baited by the anchor to try to say not seating Burris is racially motivated he didn't say he felt that way, but said he thinks Blogjevich pick Burris because he was black and it would start people arguing about race for the pick.

This is some of the best insight I've seen on this scandal.

Orange Crush: But if leftwingers think Al Sharpton is Hannity's liberal match in a debate, no wonder they are so stupid. Hannity will devour him.

So, let me get this straight, you think Hannity gets his guests and co-hosts by decree of the left or by some impartial democratic process? :D HAHAHAAHA

Hannity and RIGHT-wing FOX decide, and they are going for the caricatural character as counterpoint simply because it's a softball of a strawman for them to push their simplistic and distorted political dialectics.

Sharpton has never come close to representing the majority of the Democratic block, hence the fact that he's always failed so miserably at his party leadership campaigns and the fact that so few Democrats actually take him seriously or make use of him.

Hannity, Sharpton, Bachman and Meatloaf, all on Fox together?

And people were worried about the LHC. Don't know about you farkers, but my weekend plans just changed. Come Monday this whole world's getting sucked into a whirling vortex of suck and I want to be knee deep in hookers and blow by then.

Orange Crush: That's strange, as the liberal major media always go to straight to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when there is some nefarious "racist" out there. See the Imus fiasco.

Psst Al Sharpton said that Blagojevich picked Burris only because he is black. And that the racist allegations being made against the senate to stop Burris are silly.

Please continue making yourself look like a complete idiot.

I thought it was amusing to see Harry Reid and white Democrats refusing to give Burris a seat in Congress.

Hey Burris, McDonalds will give you a seat!...they are not stuck in the racist past like the Democrats.

If you're just going to parrot Limbaugh, you need to take better notes. The line is Denny's, not McDonald's. Ya know, because Denny's had a scandal a few years back for not seating black people. See how the context IS the joke?

I didn't think it was possible to make Rush Limbaugh's idea of humor less funny, but there, you've done it. Congratulations.

Way to kill a thread. We almost had a decent thread there. Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell parody from reality with sufficiently irrational beliefs. Whatever, congrats, you win.
