Yowza! Can I have a credible presidential campaign with at least 3 of his wives?

Oh thank Mormon Jesus we cleared that one up. Now can we move on to naming the world's tallest midget? Or are we still debating the cleanest Russian city?

This. You're a great Farker. I'd rather be here with you and the rest of the great Fark community than with the best people in the world.

And the least credible. And the cleanest. And the dirtiest. And with the best use of campaign funds. And with the worst use of campaign funds. And the most corrupt. And the least corrupt. And...

Sure looks credible. These idiots can't even make a decent attack poster. Looks like Obama's pointing at the man that's behind the podium who's Not Ready

Yeah, but you have to cut the mormons slack- not many intelligent, ambitious individuals will by Smith's story, so they're obviously thrilled they almost had someone be nominated to run for President.

When this Mormon runs for POTUS I'll vote for him.

He beat out a Mormon blogger who got the pity vote because she was in an airplane accident, and David Archuleta, the American Idol loser. Read all about it here:

The only thing I remember about it was his giving the most offensive concession speech ever.

shower_in_my_socks [TotalFark] 2009-01-09 11:26:16 AM
Oooooo.... the Mormons are pissing off Dead Joseph Smith. He also ran for president. (And ditched his flock to search for buried treasure).

Orrin Hatch made a decent run for president, as I recall.

Steigen 2009-01-09 05:12:26 PM
Well he's the only candidate from either side that would have been able to navigate the financial shiatstorm we're currently in.

//way better than Obama (and McCain)

Maybe, but I really don't want to see 10% of GDP going into the pockets of Jesus.

I'll take Romney over Hatch any day of the week.

Hatch wrote the proposed Anti-Flag Burning Amendment.

And then blamed the Columbine massacre on its failure to pass. No kidding.

He also proposed that computers be equipped with some means to blow up in the faces of those who "steal" copyrighted media from big corporations and the RIAA/MPAA.

Ah, once again, the tolerance on fark reveals itself. If I had to chose a Mormon or someone who posted in this thread to be my next door neighbor, I'd choose a Mormon.

/It wasn't even close.
