Cats (7): Sir Reginald Duke of Chutney (Reggie for short - name stolen from Disney's Robinhood), Bascal, Fidget, Furious, Zoom-Zoom, Shmoo and Boney Moroney

Dog: B'Dog (Buh Dog)

Cats from the past: Pergl, Jebus, Dinsdale, Amalie, Sinclair, Zephyr, Flower, Zig Zag, Krunk, Norben, Thurman Murman, Igor, Fancy, Clancy, Virgil, Greasy, Iggy, Chim-Chim, Hogarth, Edwina, Thomas, Jerry, Smokey. There are more, but I am drawing a blank. My Husband and I rescue cats and find them homes. The seven from above are mine - the rest are rescues I was able to find homes for.

We also have a feral cat we call Yellow Kitty.

Mine's Pixel because I am a dork. He also comes if you whistle for him, like a dog. It's awesome.

The roommates is "Baxter Von Puss Puss" because of those "Mister Barky Von Schnauzer" commercials.

We have four cats. Gumby's an orange tabby, lacking all but three teeth. Gem is a mean gray kitty (well, mean to the other cats; usually nice to us). Wrecks and Skylar are the two gray kittens of the family (Wrecks used to be Rex, but his name was changed due to his habit of wrecking everything; Skylar was named by one of my sisters).

Gumby, unfortunately, went from 17 pounds last December to 10 pounds this December. The docs can't pinpoint why the exact weight loss, but since his bloodwork has all come back normal, they're leaning towards lymphoma. The only way to be sure is to do a biopsy, but a) we're poor and can't afford it, b) it sounds painful, and we don't want to put him through it and c) he's old (somewhere between 13 and 16 at last guess). In the meantime, he's not eating right (he'll eat kitty treats, but sticks his nose up at wet food or tuna), he's missing the litterbox often when he pees, and he's getting scrawny. It breaks my heart to see my Gumby-man like this, but...what can I do?

My brother named his gorgeous girlie calico cat Milenko, yep The Great Milenko. Talk about pure evil! Beautiful to look at but would claw out your eyes in a heartbeat. She now resides on a farm in West Virginia so that she can her execute her killing instincts... She may have made an appearance in the movie Wrong Turn (new window). (for those of you who have seen this movie, I know you are laughing right now)

There are some really odd pet names around here. Now I don't feel like my kittie's names are so great.

I have a siamese mix named Tonic and an Abyssinian mix named Havoc. And yes, he wreaks havoc everywhere. Even in the litter box.

Meet Mr. Fattington T. Sackworth.

The "T" doesn't stand for anything, like the S in Ulysses S Grant

Umm wrong president

Ulysses S. Grant = Ulysses Simpson Grant.

Harry S Truman = S cause both grandfathers middle initial was S and the family didn't want to piss the other off.

Oh, my...Forgive my lack of clarity. I have no children, and if I did, I would never let them name the cat anything stupid.

I did, however, have neighbors who had a couple of spoiled, stupid brats, who named their cats "Pizza" and "Taco". The mom would occasionally ask us cat-related questions (we had two cats). She was also not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Wrong thread, but I've heard of EP as well. (never seen it tho)

/got a LOL out of me

I have two hand-me-down cats. One is a Maine coon named Pablo; the other is a huge orange cat named Newton. My neighbors used to have a cat that went by the name of Kittyface. Now they have a few cats: Abby, Simba, Muffs, and (depending who you ask) Blue or Neenee. Blue kicks ass, and I just refer to her as Ninja Cat since she will scale a stockade fence and hop up on the roof with no effort. While on the roof she'll meow so people notice her. (she also has the cutest chirp for a cat that I've heard)

Yeah every time my little bro or sister named a pet it was generic. A cat named Tom. A small dog named Bitsy.

Galactica Actual: We have a cat named Puck because he is a mischeivious little elf. We often call him other things though, which I shan't reproduce here, except for "The Puckster."

Incidentally he is small and black and also resembles a hockey or espresso puck. But it's exactly that: incidental.

We have a little rat terrier dog named 'Puck' because she was meant for the big dogs to kick around. Her main nickname is 'Puckula' for the way she bears her teeth and snarls when they are playfighting.

Cats are Mouse (calico manx), Pogo (wildcat tabby) and Mitzi (orange tabby), all female. We're thinking about keeping a black tomcat kitten we've preliminarily named 'Bear.'

/we have a zoo too .. there are more dogs
//our one year old daughter calls Puck 'kitty' because she is the same size as the cats.

Cat's name (nick): Apophis (poofy), Anubis (Noobz), Osiris ('siris)

I would love another dog, but I just know that when I say I have 2 dogs and 3 cats people will look at me like I'm insane. I got two kittens from the rescue last summer. I was only getting one, but the calico looked so sad. I'm just happy to be able to give them all a home.

We already get insane looks. until a year ago, we had 4 (Hobz was 15... it was just his time)

Spunk came from HAWS.
Smokey car from someone's car (He spent his non-puppy mill part of his life living in and out of someone's car/appartment for 6 months)

Hobz was free from a furniture store
Osiris & Anubis from HAWS.
Aphophis was found on the side of a county road, trying to cross, blind from conjunctivitis and fit in the palm of my hand.
