No... but if you've ever ridden on the Skytrain around that section of track you'd know it goes through a fairly large turn complete with the track tipping slightly and centripetal acceleration in that area. Not to mention Skytrain isn't the smoothest ride in the world to begin with. It isn't likely you'd be bounced out of the door, but not impossible. Prudence wins over bravado.

As soon as I saw the headline i know it was about the Skytrain. They claim it's one-in-a-million but that's a huge lie. It happened when I was on board twice, and one time it closed on my foot and started moving before I pulled free.

It's a piece of crap. Can't handle snow to extreme rain, overcrowded, occasionally stops dead in between stations for up to an hour.

That would normally have triggered an alarm and prevented the train from leaving.

That was just the alarms, the door's being opened was caused by a jackass passenger.

Yes, because biatching about stupid people backing up on interstates to get to their exit and people prying doors open on subways causing them to be stuck open is things only sissies worry about. Especially underground. If you're talking about something like NYC's Subway or the T in Boston (well, Red/Blue/Orange), those things can move pretty fast and aren't spaced that far apart (like...less than 5 minutes). Also, third rails, if I recall correctly.
