Zoo Atlanta? Thought subby was missing a preposition but then I saw that that is apparently the name of said zoo in which case I say wow Atlanta, brilliant naming team there.

Film goes where?

I've seen the Panda exhibit at that zoo. There is a huge sign saying "Do Not Bang On Glass" and there's about 50 children at any given moment all screaming at the top of their lungs and beating on the glass while their parents just stand there. No wonder the pandas never get it on.

"I say wow Atlanta, brilliant naming team there."

Apparently the committee was chaired by Yoda.

Since this happened at Zoo Atlanta, shouldn't the headline be about an ass-ugly panda baby?

Just asking,

Joe

We may not have the best name, but at least our tiger exhibit isn't interactive.

Three is "lots" now? I mean yeah, there's 11 photos total, but 8 of them either don't include the new arrival at all, or do so only as an almost invisibly small portion of the total image...

Wait, do we have tigers? I haven't been there in years

A couple of years ago there was a baby rhino that had a face not even a mother could love. Good thing Rhinos have notoriously bad vision.

/'sides it's usually ironic

I know there's a clouded leopard, but I didn't see any tigers. Maybe they just weren't out at the time- it was around 32 and most mammals were hiding.

Reminds me that for a long time, I've wanted an electroshock type toilet seat for the public bathroom(s) at work. I would love to hear someone scream when they get a little shock from peeing on the toilet seat.

A GIS gives me all the baby panda pics I need... but man, I gotta get down to Atlanta ASAP to see the incredible zoo visitors taking pictures and reviewing their pictures! Plus they have video cameras that can take moving pictures!!!

/wtf

Cat Shox: Film goes where?

I came here to mention something about that photo. Why the hell is there a photo of a photographer looking at a photo (or loading film, I can't decide...)

DrumCorpsAlum 2009-01-04 05:47:34 PM
Can we get a panda with a name like "Bob" or "spot" or "patches?"

Xerxes99 2009-01-04 06:43:57 PM
It'll be dead within six months.... It's Zoo Atlanta after all....

Tortle 2009-01-04 07:04:26 PM
Aww that baby ass-panda is cute! It's clearly outgrown it's ugly stage. When they're truly newborn they're a bit scary.

apparently they never get it on in the wild either. other than looking lazy and cute, pandas have no other survival skills. they're so retarded they don't even know how to breed, truely a species that deserves extinction.

Awwwww. So cute, especially the one with the widdle pink tongue sticking out. I think they're grown out of infancy, which is a good thing for pandas, because in infancy they look like worms, IIRC.

thomtomw, Welcome to Fark, read the FARQ sometime. On Fark, all baby animals are "ugly-ass." I think it began with a giraffe, or maybe a rhino, but it doesn't really matter, the origin is obscured in the dawn of time and has no logical explanation. Naturally, it has nothing to do with the actual cuteness quotient of said baby.

You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. If you try, we will sic an ugly-ass baby something on you to lick your face till you submit.

Its cute, but it ain't no Butterstick.

unchikun 2009-01-05 09:11:15 AM
ugh, finally they're putting it on display.

now i can go to the zoo and check out the other exhibits in peace while all the pandatarded mobs are distracted.

/just not into pandas; they're kinda boring

Hmmm ... Ugly ass pics... I thought they were cute... Sarcasim?

I like the random pictures of people. That's what I came to see. Why not take pictures of unrelated things, and add that to the article too.
