I used to work for a sign company . . . getting a kick . . .

Someone forgot to put enough of the screws back in that face when they serviced it last.

And wow that's a big face for acrylic.

So will Drew buy the New York Times now?

Can't let those SA goons get an advantage.

I'm actually a bit disappointed, I thought this was going to prove that SA, Fark, etc are to printed news as The Daily Show is to hard hitting TV journalism. (I mean, I know I get all my news from Fark these days.) Still, made me giggle.

Damn Right! Those wiley Goons are always trying to get on top. One would think they had gotten over that whole Photoshop contest by now.

What else would you make a backlit channel letter out of?

deevo 2009-01-03 05:49:36 PM
You buy a paper for 50 cents, you open it up and find there's no sports section. You have to pay another 50 cents if you want that. You pay another 50 cents to get the entertainment section, only to find out that this section is broken.

moof 2009-01-03 05:50:34 PM
I hear the SomethingAweful goons had a bit of a windfall..

Kenwhat: Does anyone still pay attention to SA? That site hasn't been funny in years and the forum always had this hive-mind mentality, which wouldn't have been so bad in itself except it was a hive of teenaged angst and stupidity.

SA is hit and miss at best now. Some of the articles are just so strange I don't know what they are going for, and others are just flat out lame.

I do love the rom pit articles though-they can be pretty funny.

Polycarbonate, of course, especially when it's that large and subject to wind.,

Guys, SomethingAwful.com did not really buy USA Today. The wind blew a letter off the USA Today building so it said SA Today. That's all.

I read that as, Picture after the jump. See, the U jumped off of the building, committed suicide, couldn't take it anymore, and here's a picture of his broken, twisted little U body aftet the jump.

Sad tag. Poor U.

I thought this was funny. It's hosted on YouTube but created by two goons from SA.

Careful son, that's dangerous talk. I hope you don't have an account, I hear the SA mods stalk the internet, looking for dissenters who post 'incriminating' things on other forums...

No, no, I go to other places on the Internet, communities that create the content for which SA later claims credit.

Internet tribalism is a mixture of low comedy, an unfulfilled need to belong, and pathetic, lonely sexual frustration.

At least in my experience.
