I dont know who they are so i checked out a few videos. They arent bad but they are just kinda boring.

Not my cup of tea but, of course, to each his own.

smart, inventive, passionate and cool.

therCast Of Thousands and Leaders of the Free World are very strong too

Highly recommended listening indeed.
Good for the UK!

They still count quality over popularity when handing out awards.

Headline is fail, as Elbow is the name of the band.

On another note, any Farkers who aware of the 'loudness' issue in modern music should check out the latest Elbow album - it was mastered without any loudness-compression whatsoever.

man, I've loved this band since I ripped a copy of "asleep in the back" from my college radio station. It's about time they got the recognition they deserve.

Scattered Black & Whites and Newborn are 2 incredible songs from some years ago. That being said, I was really disappointed in their new album.

i still think their first two albums ('asleep in the back' and 'cast of thousands') are their best efforts. guy garvey can write a great song, and his voice reminds me a bit of peter gabriel after a pack of cigarettes.
