(Wall Street Journal) Dumbass Alberto Gonzales plans to write a tell-all book, presumably because he can't find a job anywhere in this country. Shockingly, no publisher is willing to print 400 pages of "I can't recall."   (online.wsj.com) divider line 45

I'm surprised Gonzales hasn't been able to find a steady job after exiting the administration (no doubt while leaving a trail of slime behind him.)

I would think that Fox News or some conservative "think" tank would snap him up in a heartbeat.

As for Gonzales trying to downplay his role in attempting to justify torture... he was the farking Attorney General! Does he really believe people are that stupid?

Karma is nowhere near issuing its payment, it had to hire an accounting firm due to the sheer volume of offences.

His well-connected subordinates, like the author of the torture memo and others equally egregious, have all been rewarded, sometimes with a federal judgeship or tenure at a law school.

Nobody told Alberto that Bush loyalty is only one way, and if you're a mescan and in get in way over your head, you've got less than nothing since you trusted Republicans. Bush probably even hates you because you got into law school.

A ridiculous book advance is one way to pay him off and guys like Murdoch have publishing operations.

Let me point out:
1) Hilary Clinton, current junior senator for New York and designated Secretary of State for the Obama administration claimed while under oath during the hearings for her attempt to shanhai the US healthcare system that she 'did not recall/remember' and variations thereof OVER 120 times.

2) She STILL claims she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary(sp) for his heroic climbing of Mt Everest EVEN THOUGH HE MADE THE CLIMB THREE YEARS AFTER SHE WAS BORN.

Subby, your hatred of people with differing political views is truly infantile.

I don't know why you want to bring Hillary into a Aberto Gonazles topics, but
1. Different circumstances I'm too lazy to do research.
2. October 2006- Clinton spokesperson; "....she was not named after Sir Edmund after all....It was a sweet family story her mother shared to inspire greatness in her daughter, to great results I might add.." So their camp did give us the reason.

It may be that you are full of shiat. Again, don't know why you're pushing Hillary Clinton in here and have the nerve to use this phrase "hatred of people with differing political views is truly infantile" with a straight face.

What the FARK did Hillary Clinton have to do with any of this? Are you suggesting that because Hillary Clinton stonewalled during testimony (about health care reform) that it's okay for Alberto Gonzalez to stonewall during testimony (about torturing human beings)? Really? Even if the two were equivalent, which they aren't, how does one justify the other?

I think he's evil because he actually wanted to suspend the right of habeas corpus. Given that he was basically the top law enforcement official, cherry-picking which parts of the Constitution you've sworn to uphold ought to result in immediate firing.

Then he has the balls to claim he's a victim of the war on terror?! A lot of disabled vets would probably like a word with him.

Farking twatwaffle...

Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we? could we?
Memories, may be beautiful and yet
Whats too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
