Then that makes today a good day. A GOOD day, indeed.

Better order those "Owen - 16" Detroit jersey from nfl.com fast - they will be sure to "ban" that name very soon (just like the Atlanta "Ron Mexico" jerseys a few years back).

Husband came into the room a bit ago and in that hushed "i hope the kid isn't listening" tone, he asked if I'd heard about the kid who was taken from his parents for abuse, and placed with an aunt who was then found guilty of abuse as well -- I was like, wait, the local kid from last month? No, no, this is over in michigan.


By now our kid is listening.
