Not a Republican but I see this as a non-story too. A lot of us have had in-laws that do embarrassing things, and that's in cases where we chose to be related to the person, not where a child ended up making the choice for us.

If she's guilty of a crime I hope she gets punished, but I fail to see how this woman's crimes in any way reflect on Sarah Palin.
