I like their version of "Only You Know And I Know." R.I.P., Delaney.

Yes I'm old. Delaney and Bonnie and Friends was the first major concert I've ever seen. It was also my first pro gig, while still in highschool, working for opening act, Billy Preston.

He'll be missed by many.

Bufu: He and Bonnie were one great couple...g'night, Delaney, and condolences, Bonnie.

They haven't been together since the early 70s.
I met her again in the early 80s, and still they were not even on speaking terms.

His daughter Bekka joined Fleetwood Mac for an album, too.

Lot of talent in that family.

Aweeee. He was at my sisters wedding, last summer. Performed an incredable rendition of Sinatras "My Way", to a standing ovation infact. Kept trying to buy me drinks, I think he liked boys. Goodnight funnyman.

What a sad passing. Delaney was a great musician and rare talent, and many owe a debt to him.

I was just watching this the other night:

I remember seeing Delaney and Bonnie on Dick Cavett and they had some guy in the band pounding out the beat on a brief case.

Oh, those hippies!
Always showing us how to look at the world in new ways!

RIP, dude and my condolences to the family.

Underappreciated by the vox populi, but respected by his peers.
R.I.P. Delaney...

FTFA: He is perhaps best known for standards such as "Superstar," co-written with Leon Russell, which was recorded by Usher, Luther Vandross, Bette Midler, The Carpenters and most recently, Sonic Youth, in a version featured on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack of the movie "Juno."

Just here to nitpick that Sonic Youth's "Superstar" is most assuredly not the most recent rendition, since it was recorded like 15 years ago as the title track to a Carpenters' tribute, when Usher was about 15 years old.

/RIP. I really only knew the cat through his work with Clapton....
