The War Room big board will be replaced with a giant Axis and Allies map

The Surgeon Generals title is changed to 'Head Cleric'

All GS pay rates are changed to level. People now to apply to be a "Level 10 Analyst with the Guild of Labor"

Federal Welfare to be suplimented with XP

NASA to be given 100 Billion "Warp Drive Stimulus"

National Endowment for the Arts to divert all funds to "Firefly" related causes.

Military research efforts to be redirected into giant fighting robot areas.

National archives to be turned over to covering of alternate American histories. Skeleton of first dragon president be displayed in DC.

President must now roll a twenty to invade a soveriegn nation.

Speaking of Obama's living situation, I read the most shamefully stupid letter to the editor in a local paper yesterday, calling for Obama - like a recently elected municipal politician here - to take a public transit bus to work.

HIS OFFICE AND HIS LIVING QUARTERS ARE IN THE SAME F*CKING BUILDING, YOU ABSOLUTE DUMBF*CK! THE PRESIDENT LIVES IN THE WHITE HOUSE! He doesn't need to take a bus unless they literally have a bus from the living quarters to the West Wing, which would be overkill, don't you think?!

/I was reading this paper in Starbucks, and I literally put my head in my hands for about two minutes, just staggered by the idiocy and the fact that someone let it be printed. Unless it is the driest wit in the guise of a badly written letter to the editor I have ever, ever seen.

The magic turban he got in Indonesia enchants him to appear as a Lawful Good level 12 Constitutional Scholar with seven levels in Politician to everyone without true seeing and gives him +10 to all charisma rolls. He's actual a level 8 Terrorist Muslin. They can't usually use that particular magic item but he's black so he gets the Affirmative Action ability.

Hmm.. does anyone else think it could be fun to make a D&D campaign based on American Politics? It could be called Closets and Corruption, as befits a cross-section of Washington.

Ah yes, and Ron Paul has all gold armor that can cast Mage spells relating to invisible hands.

Rudy Giuliani is already a ghoul. He just is. Nobody launches their presidential campaign on a mass grave that they themselves tried to get shipped out of the way before the bodies were even sorted. Farking ghoul. Sarah Palin as a ranger, I could only see that if she was Belkar from OoTS. Part Barbarian, imposibly low WIS. Or maybe some kind of obscure Village Idiot NPC class.

I remember during the primaries John McCain was determined to be some kind of venerable warrior with charisma as his dump stat.

Cheney's an archfiend. Bush is a.. I'm not really sure what's offensive enough to label him at this point.

True but he was commenting that he really didn't care about the kernel. If that is the case he was talking about gnu, which predates the linux kernel by a bit.

Bush plays a male Orc Hunter.

Biden plays a male Gnome Warlock.

Ron Paul plays a female Dwarf Priest.

Yes, geeks have wives. That's one of the things that separates them from nerds and dorks.

"A geek is someone who has the knowledge of the geeky type stuff and has social graces," Blum said. "A nerd is someone who has the knowledge but not the social graces and a dork is someone who has neither

"I'm a geek because I'm a dad," Blum said. "I managed to find a woman who wished to marry me and have children with me."

this author is full of shiit. he's a geek because he found someone to marry him?? odds are, if he wasn't making the dollars he'd still be single and therefore be pigenholed as a nerd or dork. a woman's primary goal is to find a provider so she can have kids. and the more a guy can 'provide', the more likely she'll be 'interested' in him. ain't capitalism great?
this guy is deluding himself. if he wasn't writing for AP he'd probably be living in his parents basement.

Linux_Yes: memory management?? with memory as cheap as it is, just get some friggin' memory. stop wasting your time. you can get 4GB of DDR2 for 40/50 bucks.

The memory management I was referring to is the portion of the kernel responsible for loading executables into RAM, organizing them, handling their requests for more heap space, tracking what memory they release, and cleaning up after them when they finish executing. Never mind handling shared memory areas for IPC, forked children and the like. And of course, virtual memory and paging to disk is important too.

How much RAM you have is utterly irrelevant if your OS doesn't organize running processes efficiently in memory.
