Plus 3 glass ashtrays. Looks like they still smoke.

Perhaps they'll be singing "Highway to Emphezyma" or "You Coughed All Night Long" at the show...

No. 15 glass ashtrays. 5 per room. 3 rooms.

Indeed! I must have seen the 3 masks and made the connection to the 3 rooms. I guess if you're afraid of second hand smoke, you put on the oxygen mask?

Saw them last week and they were fantastic.

Just so you know, these guys kept oxygen tanks handy at their gigs back before they even had a record deal. That's hard work.

angusyoung 2008-12-24 10:46:14 PM
Hmm...my guess is one tank is for Brian who screams his lungs out for a two-hour set. Another tank is for Angus, who's running around on stage all night and is probably in better shape than most farkers. Maybe the third tank is for Phil, who is rarely seen without a cig in his mouth.

Yeah they're old. So what.

/saw 3 shows on recent tour
//last one was 6th row

That oxygen stuff must be a hell of an addiction....I don't know how they can use that stuff.

So which 3 suffer from COPD?

I wish Brian Johnson could stop screeching. How he manages to talk normally, as I've seen him do, afterwards is mental.

Gives me a sore throat just listening to him.

just read it (a rare feat for me to actually read the article before commenting) and it seemed reasonable.

i'll be the reason for the beer after the show begins is mostly for the crew not snatching any and messing up before the show.

while i might like some english cheeses in my spread...i'd specify some snottier french ones. i'd probably request some type of iv for clotted cream though...that stuff is the sofa king awesome.

Shows respect for the fans, not getting f'd up before the show. Who wants to see some asshole stumble around and slur? I can see that any given night in one of Hoboken's ten thousand bars.

We can only hope that we can run around like that when we're in our fifties and sixties. Give 'em all the oxygen they need.

/saw them in DC, they kicked ass
//could have done without Angus taking off his shirt, dude wasn't good-looking when he was young and things aren't improving with age

Angus and Malcolm smoke like chimneys, but not big drinkers any longer.

I once worked with a fundamentalist Christian who was convinced that AC/DC had Satanic orgies backstage, right before they sacrificed live children to Lucifer. I told her that it was all an act, they were nice guys who drank tea backstage, but oh noes, they were eeeeevvvvviiiiillllll.

I wish I could show her this rider.

/Saw them in Los Angeles, kick-ass show
//Will go if they come around again
///Incredible guitar sound

In the Live in Paris concert they had, you could see angus with an oxygen mask on in the middle of the concert. And that was whey they still had Bon!!

Had a bass player that liked to get trashed before the shows, and played like utter shiat every time. Tried to get a slot earlier in the night, but he just drank faster on those nights. He just couldn't get up and play in front of people without a lot of liquid courage. Then he'd fly into drunken rages after the show because.....ta da...he played so badly.
/replaced him with a high school kid who I had to ask his parent's permission to take him on tour. But the little shiat could play.

I saw 'em back when Bon Scott was still alive. They were okay, nothing special. By 1979 I was so sick of blues-based rock that actually destroyed my copy of AC/DC's first album, put the pieces back in the sleeve, and gave it to a hardcore AC/DC fan. Good times though...

I saw them last month and they were great. They had the energy of people half their age.
