They are amazing live. When they cover Jolene, it might just be the best four or five minutes of live music on the planet.

I don't even agree with this. I like some White Stripes songs, but they would be so much better with a real drummer, and maybe a bass player.

I lived in Nashville and saw Jack around town so regularly that I started to assume he was just another person with no magical qualities anymore.
Then I see things like this and remember why it is I wanted to lay in bed between him and Meg being petted by them both.

Jack should do the Led Zeppelin gigs in lieu of Percy, it would be perfect.

there is more to music then robotic precision, Meg plays with feel and emotion, sometimes to get that feel you need to be behind or ahead of the beat. Pertian mastubatory drumming is not the only school.

I love the playing of Meg White. It's perfect for the White Stripes. Any more and it just wouldn't be right. I know a guy who could give Peart a run for his money and he says Meg is his top favorite drummer.

Saw them live last year and it was one of the best shows I've ever been too. Well, up at the top at least. Kenny Wayne is up there too.
