Steven Seagal, is a fat sack of SHEIOT, but he is talented, I will admit that, his films are pathetic, yet oddly entertaining, his music is, surprisingly good.

Long live Mr Seagal, and his band he affectionatly calls THe Flock"?
Get it

The "Flock" of Seagals

Okay, I am almost in shock. He is pretty freaking good with the blues guitar. That Hoochie Coochie Man song is actually pretty freaking good and his slurred vocals work wonders for the blues feel. Good job.

His movies don't hold up. (From being at least humorously entertaining)
The more you see them the more he looks like a flaming douche.

But I guess that's true for all of the martial arts assholes.

I'd love to hear him cover Don Johnson's "Heartbeat."

I really wanted to listen to his song and mock him...but he actually did a good job.
I never would have guessed it was him.

Add me to the chorus. I think he's kind of a d-bag, movie wise.

But I am a blues fan, and crappy musician myself, and I have heard WAY worse than this. It's not bad at all, and pretty true to the original. Solo is a little wanky, but hey that's par for the course today. It's played well, though.

Do couple shiatty movies make my millions, get my wife some fake knockers and hit the road with my c-list blues band. that's the farking life. Don't knock the guy, he's doing what he likes to do.

He's had sex with the hot chick from Weird Science, and you haven't. Nor have I. :-(

"The sound of a classic song being murdered"? Really?

The author to TFA has obviously led a very sheltered life if that's the worst version of this song he's ever heard. Go to a few biker runs and then get back with me.

Anything is better than Matt Wallace's vocal attempt:

That picture is officially responsible for both spontaneous laughter and the coffee all over my keyboard.

Someone with PS skills needs to put this at the bottom/top:

"Oops, I crapped my pants."

/The song was bad.

As much as I hate his movies, this music is pretty decent.

Have you seen her lately? She's looking a lot like he does.

I saw Segal's band open for Sammy Hagar a couple years back. Absolutely horrible.

His movies were fun to watch though.

I don't know if I listened to the right song from Segal's myspace page, but it sure don't sound anything like this song, Link which is the real deal by Muddy Waters.

This is realllllly old news. I had a massive WTF moment about 2yrs ago when I was flipping through an issue of Guitar Player and saw an interview with him. Of course I immediately downloaded the album expecting something of "The Transformed Man" proportions or at least as hilariously bad as Bruce Willis album. I was kind of disappointed but also surprised that Segal is actually a pretty talented musician. Of course all novelty aside the record is very bland boring covers of blues standards and nothing will ever make you want to listen to it more than once. Its definitely not the epic train wreck you are expecting.
