FTFA: The band fired Buckner around Christmas 2007. Buckner filed suit in Sacramento Superior Court last week to recoup hundreds of thousands of dollars to which he says he's entitled.

It does sound like he is owed some money, but dissolving the band... won't happen.

I saw them at a small club awhile back and they were great, just a few weeks later Last Resort hit the stations.

We used to play "Forever". I thought that was a great tune.

Back when they were "big", those guys had video of backstage groupie action on their DVD. Such groupie action included throwing slices of bologna at girls' naked asses. WTF?

I knew these guys before they were big. I remember them coming into my shop and buying 1 dozen t shirts for their first show. They blew me off when they got signed. Dave was really cool though and that singer Eric used to have me buy him beers. I crashed at his house once after a show in V-ville.

Don't disrespect my cock rock like that asshole! We don't want those "musical" abortions. That being said Papa Roach isn't TERRIBLE, I just wouldn't label them as "good". If you like music from that era I would check out Ninety-Nine Remaining (new window) They are a really good band for that genre.

/if I ever make it over to Tampa I'm going to have to check them out for the fun of it

If you're listing Shinedown, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down, and Seether as "cock rock," you're not really listening. Buckcherry = cock rock. AC/DC = cock rock. Nickelback = cock rock. Papa Roach = arguable. But the others? Not so much.
